Alberta’s practice focuses on campaign finance and tax law. She has been an attorney for 23 years. She was a Program Manager for the United States Department of Treasury, administering a multi-billion-dollar fund, developing and implementing policies, and providing guidance to Federal agencies and attorneys regarding debts owed to the Federal Government. Alberta also served as an attorney at the Prince George’s County, Maryland Office of Law. In that capacity, she specialized in government relations, local legislation, animal rights, family law, and landlord-tenant.

Before becoming an attorney, Alberta was an auditor for the Federal Election Commission. As an auditor, she planned, led, and supervised audits of presidential and congressional campaign committees. She examined and analyzed financial statements and disclosure reports. Therefore, she thoroughly understands how auditors conduct audits and the information they seek.

Alberta earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Maryland and her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Hampton University. She is admitted to practice in Maryland.
